POSITION SUMMARY:
Company is looking for a Senior Manager of Digital Marketing Budget Effectiveness & Optimization! Come join a vital and growing, results-oriented team at one of the most innovative ecommerce companies in the country.
In this role you will lead the Budget Forecasting, Optimization and Operations of Company’s US Digital Marketing and Media budget. Working closely with internal and external partners, this role will be highly visible and critical to online and offline sales for the company. You’ll be part of a high-performing Media center of excellence, partnering with your teammates that run Programmatic, Paid Search, Partnerships, Media, Email, Community and SEO.
POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Own, develop, and maintain the US Digital Marketing and Media budget strategy and forecast against company objectives and goals
• Partner with Marketing Channel owners to understand and influence strategy and KPIs by channel
• Support Marketing Channel owners with intra-channel budget allocations
• Work closely with Marketing Analytics partners in integrating multi-touch attribution modeling into inter-and-intra channel budget forecasting and optimizations
• Synthesize regularly business insights from Marketing Analytics and socialize to key stakeholders, including the VP, Director, and Channel owners, to help inform holistic go-forward strategies
• Run point within cross-functional Digital team in transition from siloed channel budget optimization approach to a more holistic, client-centric one
• Primary team liaison for Company US Finance and Planning teams, using data and insights to inform forecasting
• Use quantitative and qualitative analysis to inform Company Marketing performance and influence Business and Marketing decisions
• Collaborate with key internal stakeholders on development of strategic measurement roadmaps
• Business lead on evaluation and stewardship of vendors and platforms related to operationalizing Marketing budgets (i.e. DMPs, MTA models, Audience tools, etc)
POSITION REQUIREMENTS:
• 4 year Bachelor’s degree; Finance, Accounting or Business Administration concentration preferred
• 7+ years of relevant experience
• Strong business and financial acumen, as well as strong strategic business analytical skills
• Strong understanding of Marketing channels and their role in the client journey/conversion path, including Display, Paid Search, Affiliate and Email
• Experience in complex modeling for Marketing Channels, such as LTV and diminishing returns
• A passion for Digital Marketing, as well as a thirst for data insights
• Working knowledge of marketing and media technologies & tools, particularly with marketing attribution
• Self-starter with high degree of motivation, ability to meet deadlines and to manage multiple projects
• Superior organizational and problem-solving skills. Ability to draw conclusions and take action based on data
• Ability to prioritize, work cooperatively and collaborate with cross-functional teams in a fast paced environment
• Exceptional attention to detail and excellent written and oral communication skills
• High proficiency in Microsoft applications (PowerPoint, Word, Excel)
