Company is seeking a very organized and detail-oriented Creative Resources Sr Manager in our New York or San Francisco office to provide operational and resourcing support for our creative team. The Creative Resources Sr Manager will be responsible for establishing and maintaining a process for the execution of projects from the creative department, including photography, design and project management. They will coordinate creative team resourcing, manage approvals and optimize resources and capacity for the creative department across all our offices.
This is a fun and exciting place, we are looking for someone that will be a true team player, driven and inspired by the work but also a creative problem solver to manage the department’s resourcing and workflow.
Responsibilities:
• Manage the production team consisting of photo producers, project managers and post production
• Drive the execution of large projects throughout its lifecycle from conception to execution
• Work closely with the Creative Director to manage creative team work flow
• Partner with cross team members to achieve business goals
• Manage overall budget for photo shoots and large scale projects that include staffing
• Analyze and optimize photo production process to stay on budget and identify roadblocks
• Advanced understanding of project management methodology
• Accurately estimate project requirements and timelines identifying the approach, resources, and tools required
• Ability to identify and resolve issues, manage risk, develop detailed work plans and specifications, perform resource allocations and run team meetings
• Establish and manage resourcing forecast spreadsheets for creative team
• Maintain communication with internal and external personnel to ensure workflow
• Assist in larger project initiatives with senior management
• Establish a network of talented designers and production artists for freelance projects
• Monitor and estimate team and talent needs to ensure support for brand and team growth
Qualifications:
• 7+ years of production, resourcing, budgeting, staffing and project management experience at an agency or studio
• Experience with photo shoots, pre- and post-production required
• Strong communication (verbal and written) and collaboration skills
• Understanding of creative processes within content creation
• Ability to work in a fast paced environment
• Experience in managing priorities to help creative team produce on time and top notch deliverables for their clients
• Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite, PowerPoint and Keynote
• Experience with WorkFront a plus
