We are looking to add a self-motivated Sr. Footwear Designer to the Company team to support our Run category. This individual will be a part of a fast evolving brand with significant career growth potential and will work collaboratively with the all of the Footwear categories and Apparel & Accessories teammates to create innovative and industry leading footwear product. Focusing on the Run category, this Sr. Designerwill be a part of a great success story, as Company continues to impact the business like no other company has. What will you do?
• Contribute to the creative vision for the category through product in a way that supports a premium product consumer experience using the UA Brand, Design Ethos and a keen awareness of current trends
• Be a key partner in creating brand identity and distinctive UA footwear offerings for the Run category with a creative and current design vision
• Design and present concepts for footwear and overall design direction: material, trim, color
• Utilize storytelling through your creative influence to bring successful product lines to market
• Ensure that the category meets price point, tells a strong merchandising story and meets development timelines
• Drive the short and long-term design vision and strategies for the Run category

What have you accomplished already?
• Proficiency in Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop, InDesign and PowerPoint
• Bachelor’s Degree in a design related field – Industrial Design Degree is a plus
• Model making and footwear relevant craft skills
• Footwear or adjacent manufacturing process knowledge and experience. Ideally, have spent time in sample rooms and factories
• Gained a solid understanding of footwear construction and materials. Should be versed in manufacturing techniques and have experience working at the factories on development issues
• Proven ability to express concepts and ideas through hand sketching
• Understanding of patterns, blueprints, molds and materials
• Must be detail oriented, able to prioritize tasks and work under pressure to successfully meet multiple deadlines
• Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public
