Description Fox 21 Television Studios, a dynamic television production unit, is presently looking for a Senior Financial Analyst to join its Network Finance team. This position is a pivotal, integral, dual-functioning role that supports both the Accounting and Finance managers within a fun and energetic team environment. This position is located in Los Angeles. Responsibilities   • Support the Accounting manager by:     ◦ Preparing recurring and non-recurring journal entries accurately and in a timely manner     ◦ Preparing monthly Balance Sheet and Income Statement account reconciliations     ◦ Assisting with tax rebate/credit accounting   • Support the Finance manager by:     ◦ Preparing coverage development billing to internal clients and external third parties     ◦ Tracking and maintaining new and existing development deals in F21TVS’ centralized database; this includes monthly analysis of any changes to existing development deals     ◦ Assisting with the preparation of Ultimate Profit/Loss Statements for current and non-current titles     ◦ Assisting with the preparation of commitment financial statement footnote submissions and various management reporting and analytics     ◦ Assisting with preparing quarterly forecast and annual budget deliverables     ◦ Assisting with annual SOX 404 compliance procedures   • Develop and maintain relationships with external Partners (Business Affairs, Production Finance, Residuals and Participations Divisions)   • Complete ad hoc and special projects as necessary Qualifications   • Proficient in Microsoft Excel (look-ups, pivots, etc.) and other MS Office programs   • Experienced user of Oracle, PeopleSoft, and/or Hyperion preferred, but not required   • Professional presentation, communication (both oral and written), analytical, organizational, and relationship building skills   • Ability to manage, prioritize, and meet hard deadlines for multiple projects   • Ability to operate efficiently in a fast paced, entrepreneurial environment   • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field required   • Minimum one year general ledger accounting experience, preferred   • Minimum one year entertainment experience, preferred Division Description Fox 21 Television Studios is a leading producer of cable television content domestically and around the world.
