Responsibilities
The Sr. Financial Analyst will support Production for Golf Channel.
Job Duties
Prepare, create and maintain tournament/live event budgets and forecasts
Track & reconcile job costs to budget/forecast worksheets for tournament and News live events
Coding & submission of invoices and p-card transactions for payments of accounts payable balances
Prepare / maintain the consolidated monthly talent grid, ensuring that talent schedules are accurately reflected so that costs are allocated appropriately to the show/event costs.
Track & prepare contractual payments for talent wardrobe reimbursement and/or other outside productions
Assist Production Mangers with all accounting and finance issues
Compile, track and report on live event forecasts on a weekly and monthly basis to assist management in making business decisions
Support major financial initiatives, including the annual budget, estimates, & long range plan process
Support Sr. Director, Finance in monthly reporting and ad-hoc reporting/analysis requests
Remote Ops/Event Analysis: ongoing production event efficiency review
Open department job numbers, virtual P-cards as needed
Review CAS documents to confirm they match approved Budgets for sales sold events
Work with Sr. Director, Finance to ensure compliance with company policy regarding time, expense reports, as well as purchasing cards
Assist in implementing new policies and procedures as needed
Qualifications/Requirements
Basic Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree in Finance or Accounting
3+ years of experience in financial analysis
