A Lot About You
We are looking for a Sr. User Experience Designer with an obsession for creating simple design solutions for complex system challenges to join our team and helps us reinvent and redesign the best advertising platform in the planet. Mastery in taking a project from concept to completion is a huge plus. This dynamic individual must possess an eye for clean, elegant, industrial-strength design, demonstrate an entrepreneurial spirit, and must be well versed in all aspects of complex systems design, with experience in either enterprise, advertising or B2B design and development, and with a comprehensive design portfolio to show for it.
The ideal candidate will be able to play a key role in developing and executing systems design strategy grounded on customer-centered research activities, mixing business and customer goals to create awesome experiences for our users. An ideal candidate will also have experience in designing complex systems in ad tech or related field, and domain knowledge of ad tech tools and behaviors. Last but not least, the ideal candidate is strategically inclined, and loves to put ideas to test, with real people, in a collaborative environment.
Your Day
• Collaborate with product management, engineering and other stakeholders to define design vision and implement intuitive user interactions with our products and applications
• Conceptualize original ideas that bring simplicity and user friendliness to complex design challenges
• Lead innovation with thoughtful experience design and effectively communicate thinking through wireframes, storyboards, user flows, process flows, etc.
• Present and justify design thinking and rationale through key milestone deliverables to peers and stakeholders
• Establish and promote design guidelines, best practices and standards
• Apply user-centered experience design practice and participate in regular user research
• Participate in multiple projects simultaneously from planning to launch
You Must Have
• MFA, BFA or BS in Interactive Design, Graphic Design, HIC, Multimedia, or equivalent experience
• 7 plus years of experience in mobile, product, graphic, interaction or information design
• Cross platform design skills in mobile web and desktop highly desired (HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript)
• Extensive knowledge in screen layouts, final production art, UI flow modeling, information design, typography, color, composition, and UI specifications
• Proficiency in Sketch, Photoshop, Illustrator, OmniGraffle, Keynote or other visual design, wireframing and prototyping tools
• In depth knowledge of design principles and experience in complex systems
• Experience working in an agile environment and with rapid prototyping
• Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills and ability to defend design decisions
