Company, Inc.’s Marketing Analytics team is looking to hire a Sr Digital Marketing Analyst. This is an exciting opportunity in the growing field of data analytics as it applies to marketing. The Sr Digital Marketing Analyst will provide analytic and strategic support to Company’s marketing department while collaborating with other members of the broader analytics team. The Sr Digital Marketing Analyst will also be responsible for the creation of statistical models to predict customer behavior and performance of marketing initiatives, as well as for creating and measuring specific performance metrics. The ideal candidate has extensive experience manipulating and analyzing large data sets and problem solving skills.
The Sr Digital Marketing Analyst is expected to mine data from the enterprise data warehouse to continuously improve marketing spend and return on investment. This role will constantly be asked to learn new data sources and new analytical tools, as well as provide recommendations to management.
The Sr Digital Marketing Analyst position can be located in either Company’s Los Angeles or Chicago offices, and will provide solutions for Company brands like the LA Times, Chicago Company, Baltimore Sun, as well as websites like Company website.
Responsibilities:
Projects You Might Work on at Company
• Building predictive model on customers likelihood to churn
• Mining data to understand user behavior of those that purchase
• Customer web engagement analysis
• Customer LTV reporting
• Building out marketing KPI dashboards in Tableau
Qualifications:
• Bachelor degree in Business / Marketing, Statistics, Mathematics, Engineering, Economics/Econometrics or other quantitative discipline is required. Advanced degree preferred.
• 3+ years of solid, relevant work experience
• Experienced in analytical modelling techniques including multivariate analysis, decision trees, time series analysis, regression, and visualization techniques
• Web analytics experience is a plus, a strong interest in digital is necessary.
• Working knowledge of SQL
• Proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, and statistical software packages (SAS)
• Experience in Tableau is a plus
• Advanced analytical/problem solving and research skills.
• Ability to work independently or as part of a group.
• Enthusiastic and self-motivated with a desire to learn new tools and technologies.
• Ability to effectively balance various tasks simultaneously and adapt to shifting or competing priorities in a fast-paced working environment.
