The Company Mobility team offers a full range of wireless products and services for residential and business customers, including the largest selection of superphones on the fastest and most advanced network technology.
Position Description:
The Senior Consultant of Marketing Communications will champion marketing messaging, information and positioning from strategy through to development and execution. This is a fast paced role and requires the candidate to have strong marketing experience, and is someone who takes initiative and is proactive.
Key Responsibilities:
• Work closely with the product team to understand the overall roadmap, enhancements and changes.
• Develop and update messages used in advertising to the market, to our customer base and to our internal channel.
• Identify opportunities to reinforce network leadership communications.
• Work closely with the Channel and Training teams to help our front line staff understand and best position Company.
• Partner with the legal and Take to market teams to develop new network messaging at both the national and regional levels.
• Includes the Company Mobility segments of: consumer, small business and medium/enterprise.
Essential Qualifications:
• University degree with a Business, Marketing and/or related discipline
• Possess 6+ years’ experience in a marketing role
• Experienced at crafting messaging and possess very strong communication skills.
• Experience developing marketing communications material including writing briefs an asset.
• Keen attention to detail and strong collaboration skills are a must.
• Solid partnering and creative problem solving skills
• Flexibility and the ability to comfortably operate in an ever-evolving complex environment
• Very comfortable with technology.
• Naturally analytical and proactive and very highly organized
• Self-motivated, experienced in working in teams.
• Flexible, self-starter able to cope with ambiguity, and willing to embrace change.
Preferred Skills and Competencies:
• Experience working at a marketing agency or marketing department
• Knowledge of the telecommunications industry or other technology
• Bilingual (French & English) is an asset
Bilingualism is an asset (English and French)
