The Role:
The Live Nation Sponsorship department is in search of a highly motivated, organized and most importantly, enthusiastic individual who is interested in working within the very heart of the entertainment industry! As an intern, you will learn about various aspects of sponsorship for three venues in the Seattle and Pacific Northwest area; The Gorge Amphitheatre, White River Amphitheatre and Sleep Country Amphitheatre. This internship will allow students to gain exceptional experience in corporate sales, special event planning, on-site event management, marketing and implementation.
Requirements:
• Sponsorship Staff duties and responsibilities (including Show days)
• Fulfillment of Sponsorship agreements
• Implementation of Sponsor promotions
• Coordination of ticket orders & tracking
• Sales relationships with Marketing to compile media packages
• Tracking of Sponsor and venue media coverage
• Client investments recaps
Qualifications:
• Must be able to receive academic credit from their college or university prior to starting assignment
• Must be enrolled in a Bachelor's/Masters program at an accredited college or university with Junior or Senior standing
• Pursuing a degree in Music Industry, Marketing, Entertainment/Sales or related field is preferred
• Reliable transportation
• Eager to learn and be proactive with new tasks
• The ability to conduct yourself in a professional matter at all times
• Evenings, weekends and holidays may be required
This is a great internship opportunity in the Entertainment/Sales field. We are currently searching for a qualified individual to fill this internship position from March through September (2 quarters). Must be available on Memorial Day weekend, 4th of July Weekend and other holidays and weekends throughout the summer. The student will work at our Live Nation office at 419 Occidental Ave South.
It is a non-paid internship with flexible hours (minimum 20 per week) to reflect the need of your college credit requirements. Nights or weekends may be required. Reliable transportation is a must. Interns must receive academic credit from their college or university.
