The Digital Analytics Specialist will support the digital commerce & marketing teams for two national retail brands, Frontgate and Grandin Road. This position will report directly to the Director of Digital Marketing & Analytics and support the analysis of all online behavior, traffic and revenue trends. An ideal candidate will have web analytics experience focused on user behavior, online merchandising and digital marketing, as well as a strong desire to drive a business forward leveraging data insights. Responsibilities
• Serve as an in-house web analytics expert supporting the Company website and Company website websites
• Provide digital marketing insights into traffic behaviors, conversion influences, and landing page optimization opportunities
• Conduct in-depth analysis of merchandising, category, site search, and navigation usage across the sites
• Provide routine inbound traffic analysis and forecasting
• Develop and maintain new reporting and dashboards to support internal stakeholders
• Support site testing campaign setup and analysis as needed
• Support personalization efforts by leveraging content management systems to set up targeted experiences for various user segments
• Conduct analytics training to cross-departmental team members as needed
• Execute site tagging troubleshooting and implementation
• Communicate key learnings and results to internal stakeholders and provide recommendations to optimize website moving forward
• Constantly stay in tune with analytics platform enhancements and industry developments that could benefit the organization
Requirements and Qualifications
• 2+ years’ experience with a web analytics platform, Google Analytics preferred
• Experience with A/B and multivariate testing platforms
• Knowledge of site tagging fundamentals for web analytics and 3rd party marketing partners
• Proven ability to solve problems by leveraging data analytics
• Strong verbal and written communication skills and ability to tell a story using data
• Experience working with retail clients or transactional-based businesses
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel
• Knowledge of e-commerce site infrastructure and digital marketing suite
• Bachelor’s Degree in a related field
