Where is it based: Greater London House, Mornington Crescent, London
The hours: 9.00am – 5.30pm (Monday to Thursday) 9.00am – 5.00pm (Friday)

A bit about the Team:
Production is a team of creative professionals; working together to ensure the entire production process is run seamlessly. It’s incredibly diverse, built up of several departments ranging from Studio, Shoot Operations, Retouching, Copy Writing and Production itself. It’s a very busy, very exciting area to be a part of, requiring constant communication between the team, and all the other areas of the business.
The Shoot Assistant will report into the Studio Operations Manager as part of the Production department. Your main area of focus will be to fully support and assist the Stylist and Shoot Co-ordinator within the Studio, making previous fashion assisting experience a necessity for this role. Your day to day role consists of assisting the stylist with collation of styling product and dressing of models, as well as organisation of samples and communication of product codes.
The role requires a focused, driven, hardworking individual. You must be able to remain calm and professional in pressured situations while maintaining a positive and proactive attitude. This role demands a team player who is eager to learn and develop and can grasp new information quickly. You will also be flexible and have the ability to think outside of the box and bring new ideas to the team.
It is vital that you are passionate about photography and fashion, and that you have a solid understanding of current trends and how they relate to the Company customer.
The Role:
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
• Shoot, edit, code and upload womenswear model imagery alongside Stylist and Photographer for Company product pages
• Establish a high level of communication with Photographer and Stylist regarding model and product prior to start of shoot – decide on hair, make up, look and feel for product/brand you are shooting
• Work with Senior Creative Stylists to maintain their vision throughout the shoots and in their absence - communicate this to permanent and freelance team members
• Produce fresh, aspirational shoots which are always in keeping with Company 20-something customer
• Oversee the prepping process of Shoot Assistants and Stylists morning and afternoon and ensure the shoot will flow in the most efficient way possible
• Reference lookbooks, campaigns and benchmark imagery for brand image consistency
• Have and keep a firm understanding of current and upcoming trends and how they relate to the Company customer
• Ensure product prioritisation of shooting on set
• Follow the Company photography guide to ensure product is shot consistently
• Ensure that all image sets are regularly uploaded according to the set time frames
• Achieve shoot target of 60 products per day
• Ensure all required products are catwalked/videoed
• Liaise with Retouching/Photography department on morning lighting tests
• Ensure daily queries and e-mails are answered efficiently
• Prepare an email summary of the days shoot for review and distribute to department
• Maintain a professional and productive working environment
• Establish and maintain close relations with the Shoot Operations, Model Booking and Retouching teams
• Engage in training and development initiatives
• Provide feedback on any new employee/freelancer trials
• Contribute to problem solving through meetings and one to ones
• Demonstrate and maintain a professional presence in and around the studios.
• Establish and maintain close relations with all other Studio Team members
• Provide feedback to Senior Management on studio related issues
• Actively taking part in wider business projects in order to represent studio fully and ensure all needs are met
• Assisting the Senior Production Management team and other members of management on any ad hoc projects
What Success Looks Like:
• Studio targets achieved each day due to your organisational skills
• Shoot consistent with benchmark imagery due to your communication skills
• Full understanding of catwalk and street style trends and ability to apply these to your shoots
• Pristine studio environment and styling store cupboards
• At the start of your employment you will be able to edit imagery to a high level, and will understand all brands within your remit and how they need to be shot and edited to maximise sales. You will also consistently achieve shoot targets.
• The more developed Shoot Co-ordinator will be able to work with any team be it permanent or freelance to produce world class e-commerce imagery based on inspiration and catwalk trend/street style with minimum briefing and to the standard expected. You will consistently achieve target, be proactive in suggesting new ways of working and be a collaborative support to the Senior Shoot Co-ordinator and studio management.
Skills and experience you will need:
Experience
• Fashion background and previous studio and editing experience essential
• Previous fashion e-commerce retail experience desirable
Skills
• Ability to stay calm in a fast paced environment and remain proactive and professional
• Be able to rapidly adapt to change
• Excellent organizational, administrative, time management and oral communication skills
• Have strong attention to detail in order for you to present the product in the best way possible
• Be a strong team player who is eager to learn and can grasp new information quickly
