Job Summary:
The CTO Team Lead provides work direction for employees in the Cash Transaction Operations (CTO) department within Residential Loan Servicing unit. CTO is responsible for the payment application and disbursement activity for residential mortgage and secured consumer loans serviced on the Black Knight MSP system. This role schedules, directs, and monitors daily work flows to ensure the effective, efficient and accurate operation of the unit. Actively monitors work quality to adherence to all internal policies, procedures, and established service level standards.
• Oversee and distribute incoming payments from various payment channels (wires, checks, branch, electronic) to facilitate timely and efficient application to customer’s accounts serviced on the Black Knight MSP system.
• Reviewing daily loan disbursement activity.
• Review and approve the daily work of the CTO team members.
• Monitoring and reviewing various daily MSP exception and balancing reports to ensure exceptions are resolved on a timely basis.
• Performs payment processing functions as necessary.
• Provide technical direction, guidance and training of the CTO team members.
• Assists the CTO Supervisor and Manager in ensuring all procedures are documented within the RADAR system.
• Provide input for performance appraisals and counseling.
• Provide operations supervision in the absence of supervisor.
• Responsible for written and verbal communication with immediate supervisor and other units to resolve more complex questions or problems.
• Responsible for knowing and conforming to government, investor, Bank rules and regulations applicable to the payment and disbursement functions.
• Compiles information for productivity tracking and measurement of production statistics to ensure that predetermined service standards are maintained, as directed by supervisor.
• Evaluate internal / external servicing inquiries, requests, and disputes and recommend appropriate solutions.
Qualifications
• 4 - 5 years of technical or loan servicing experience and knowledge of PC / computer systems.
• Knowledge of the Black Knight MSP servicing application is preferred.
• Must be familiar with general lending policies and bank procedures.
• Strong reading, writing and math skills with excellent problem solving and multi-tasking abilities required.
