Job Summary:
The Senior Scrummaster will be responsible for ensuring that the agile process is followed across all agile teams. Working closely with leadership in the Software Engineering team, this leader will help remove impediments, foster the environment for high performance, continuous flow and relentless improvement. The successful execution of this role will combine passion for delivering on time and with quality, excellent team collaboration skills and the ability to coach teams for the adoption and mastery of agile practices.

The company owns and operates 850+ broadcast radio stations, serving more than 150 markets throughout the U.S. Plus, iHeartRadio - a free, industry-leading, digital music service - gives users instant access to more than 2,000 live radio stations and allows them to create custom stations inspired by favorite artists or songs, anywhere they are.
The Senior Scrummaster will be responsible for ensuring that the agile process is followed across all agile teams. Working closely with leadership in the Software Engineering team, this leader will help remove impediments, foster the environment for high performance, continuous flow and relentless improvement. The successful execution of this role will combine passion for delivering on time and with quality, excellent team collaboration skills and the ability to coach teams for the adoption and mastery of agile practices.
Responsibilities:
• Leads the agile process across the whole Software Engineering organization
• Manages all scrum of scrum activities to coordinate progress in agile teams, both internal at Company and those sourced from resource augmentation partners
• Administers the basic scrum cadence (backlog grooming, sprint planning, stand up, demo, retrospective)
• Minimizes bureaucracy while providing excellent reporting and status visibility
• Champions the adoption of common agile tools and methodologies
• Interfaces with the PMO organization to marry the agile and waterfall worlds, where needed
• Defines agile productivity KPIs and ensures continuous progress
• Manages scrum masters in a dotted-line organizational structure
Qualifications:
• Ability to lead scrum masters, developers and manage peers through influence.
• Ability to establish a data-driven culture and a repeatable, structured and disciplined approach to the agile process.
• Ability to find solutions and remove impediments for the teams
• Ability to manage the dependencies between team capacity, prioritization, budget, software quality and committed deadlines.
• Ability to orchestrate Jira, Slack and other agile tools to minimize bureaucracy and accelerate the flow of information in the organization
• Certified Scrum Master (CSM)
Experience:
• B.S. in Computer Science or a related technical field
• 5+ years of experience with Agile
• 5+ years of experience in IT involving process improvement, project management or requirements analysis or management
