Position Title: Senior Property Field Adjuster ( Tampa, Florida)
Position Summary: We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled Senior Property Field Adjuster to play a critical role in our organization. The incumbent will be responsible for investigating, evaluating, and settling property damage claims, ensuring fair and accurate compensations while adhering to company guidelines and industry best practices. The successful candidate will possess excellent attention to detail, strong analytical skills, and exceptional customer service.
Responsibilities:
1. Conduct thorough onsite investigations of property damage claims, including evaluating the cause and extent of damage to determine settlement amounts.
2. Collect and review relevant documents, such as policy information, police reports, and witnesses' statements, to accurately assess the claim.
3. Communicate with policyholders, witnesses, and other relevant parties to obtain additional information or clarification regarding claims.
4. Collaborate with contractors, service providers, and legal professionals to obtain estimates, negotiate settlements, and provide necessary support for a fair resolution.
5. Document all findings, discussions, and actions related to the investigation and settlement using appropriate software and tools.
6. Review and interpret insurance policies, ensuring compliance with policy terms and conditions while effectively explaining coverage to policyholders.
7. Provide guidance and support to junior adjusters in the team, assisting with complex claims and ensuring consistency in claim handling practices.
8. Stay updated with industry regulations, trends, and best practices to continuously enhance knowledge and provide timely and accurate advice to the organization.
9. Review and approve settlement amounts, ensuring adherence to organizational guidelines and delegated authority levels.
10. Handle escalated or complex claims, resolving issues and complaints promptly to maintain customer satisfaction.
11. Collaborate with internal teams, such as underwriting and risk management, to provide insights and recommendations for reducing claim frequency and severity.
12. Participate in training programs and workshops to enhance technical and interpersonal skills related to property claims handling.
