Senior Noise Analyst - REMOTE
Job Details
Company is seeking a Senior Noise Analystto join our Planning organization at Company. We are looking for an experienced Noise Analyst with TNM 2.5 computer modeling knowledge with some GIS and CADD familiarity that is interested in joining an established firm known across the United States.
The responsibilities for this role will include: data collection, noise monitoring, modeling, mitigation analysis, report writing, task administration and the ability to effectively deal with clients and the public as necessary for transportation improvement projects as part of larger NEPA environmental studies or as stand-alone projects (as project manager).
The successful candidate will be capable of working remotely in a home office. Company is looking for an upbeat, dependable team player who is organized and able to work effectively with minimal supervision and as part of a larger group across the Company spectrum.
PROFESSIONAL REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science, Planning, or Engineering or related discipline
- 10+ years of experience working with FHWA Highway Traffic Noise Analysis
- Knowledge of State DOT noise policies and procedures
- Proficiency in TNM 2.5 and familiarity with MicroStation, AutoCAD, etc. preferred
- TNM classroom certified preferred
- Noise public involvement experience
- Project management experience for stand-alone noise projects
- Excellent communication and technical writing skills are essential

WORKPLACE FLEXIBILITY
Company has a flexible work environment and this position could be 100% remotely supported.
COMPENSATION
The salary range for this position is $82,326 - $123,398. This will be dependent on the experience and expertise of the incoming candidate.
