GENERAL FUNCTION The Sr. Marketing Manager leads brand-building marketing based on comprehensive understanding of the consumer, competition, business goals and dynamics; and ability to bring this to life via marketing expertise and cross-functional leadership. Manages the customer relationship management (CRM) and loyalty efforts from strategic planning through implementation with the CRM team.
MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
• Manages the strategic development of a customer-centric, loyalty-based approach and CRM initiatives; focused on run-the-business. Devises and implements strategies to deliver program goals.
• Collaborates with the CRM team and cross- functional areas to activate the program, focusing on the following: Customer Journey (base Programs incl EER), Patient Journey (incl TAB), Contact Lens Journey, eCommerce, Engagement Program
• Collaborates with the CRM team to manage budget & forecasting for CRM related activities.
• Collaborates with the CRM team to manage external agency relationships to maximize efficiencies.
• Partners with external and internal resources to develop deep understanding of results and provide synthesized learnings & implications of direct marketing activities.
• Focuses on integrating the customer experience across channels - - including email, OMNI and in-store touch points; connecting assets, offers, perks and trigger emails
• Identifies opportunities to enrich experiences of the customer/associate to generate customer loyalty.
• Innovates new content and delivery of relevant communications, with goal of maximizing effectiveness and reach of channels.
• Partners with the CRM team, OMNI, agencies and others to develop transformational change in the loyalty dynamics for LensCrafters and drive retention goals.
• Partners with the LensCrafters at Macy's team to brief and develop acquisition and retention efforts for the Macy's customer.
• Serves as a consult to the business development team as they support affinity programs (AARP, AAA/CAA, GE).
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience in Marketing or Advertising field.
• 7+ years of experience where the desired knowledge and skills have been developed and demonstrated.
• In-depth marketing knowledge, including consumer-centric initiative development, creative and marketing communications development and in-market execution
• Strong interpersonal skills; ability to collaborate with a variety of team members and levels in a matrix organization
• Strong verbal and written communication skills; experience gaining alignment to ideas at all levels.
• Strong analytic skills with experience in developing marketing plans by integrating consumer research and a variety of data types and sources.
• Strong project management and prioritization skills with a clear focus on results in a fast-paced dynamic environment
• Understanding of 1:1 marketing (previous work on CRM, loyalty, rewards programs etc.) / Experience or exposure to common tools in this space is a plus (Salesforce Marketing Cloud or like, Exact Target or like)
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
• MBA
• Retail experience a plus
