Introduction:
We are recruiting a Senior Marketing Manager to Play a key role in leading the development and management of marketing partners with a singular goal of driving customer acquisition in Australia. The ideal candidate has worked in a fast-paced, metrics-focused environment to build successful and memorable marketing campaigns and holds a successful track record in negotiating partnerships programmes. Initially, he/she will focus on forging new relationships with partners. Over time, he/she will oversee the day to day marketing activities of new business campaigns in Australia to optimize response rates and overall profitability across all delivery and response channels, as well as provide input on trade marketing across the market.
Accountabilities:
In the role you would be expected to:
• Implement local marketing strategies for partnership marketing to establish and build the brand in Australia.
• Assist in driving acquisition investment strategy within the market and optimization of ROI on marketing spend
• Maintain a forward looking six-month roadmap for partnership marketing
• Optimize response rates across all offline acquisition channels to ensure KPI, targets and deliverables are met.
• Identify new subscription opportunities and develop marketing initiatives with potential partners, associations and corporations.
• Manage subscription expense budgets and prepare monthly marketing expense and subscription volume forecast.
• Work closely with relevant Partners, internal and external, to ensure campaigns are executed effectively (creation of urls, campaign codes, landing pages etc), including clear communication of marketing plans with Fulfillment partner.
• Responsible for generating reports, tracking results of all acquisition sources in Australia, surfacing valuable insights from results of campaigns and making recommendations for improvement, scale or discontinuance.
• Collaborate with global circulation team, external partners, vendors and freelance resources.
• Remain abreast to new industry and market developments
Experience, skills and professional attributes:
To succeed in the role you must have:
• Minimum 5 years solid experience in direct response marketing in a B2C environment
• Experience in customer acquisition marketing strongly preferred
• Track record in successfully negotiating marketing partnership programmes
• Fluency in English (written and spoken)
