MISSION/ROLE:
The Senior Manager, Visual Merchandising -- Inline Domestic is focused on creating product and brand demand by creating and executing compelling floor sets that are designed to ensure that product is presented in a manner which appeals to consumers and drives KPI's. Develop visual displays that adapt brand messages to our retail environment.
CORE ACCOUNTABILITIES:
• Manage the implementation of product presentation programs for all full price domestic stores; which includes the development and production of the monthly floor set documents and any updates associated with the floor-set. Partner with the various members of the visual team to develop windows & in-store props along with the production thru to store implementation. This also includes the partnership in developing and producing all window directives along with the floor-set process as a whole.
• Manage the preplanning process for all floor sets along with cross function communications for the entire process. Working closely with the merchants, marketing and brand design teams to secure a flawless execution.
• Partner with Senior Director, Global Visual Merchandising on various fixture projects, in store props and other special projects to impact the business and visual presentation. This includes the management of KOP and other visual elements for the domestic fleet.
• Develop and manage frequent communication between the field management teams, stores and corporate visual management along with the communications and operations teams in an effort to ensure that stores have adequate visual resources and support to meet the company standards.
• Ability to direct and lead direct report on all aspects of the department and company.
• Lead training sessions for store management and associates and assist in developing visual training curriculum; ensure that store personnel have up-to-date knowledge of visual presentation standards, guidelines and window standards.
• Conduct store visits to ensure that management and visual personnel are adhering to visual standards, maximizing floor space, and maintaining consistent product presentation along with reviewing weekly selling reports to manage the visual presentation as it impacts business needs.
• Evaluate the performance of in-store visual merchandising personnel and assist corporate visual leadership in developing talent in a partnership with the field management team.
• Ability to clarify the unique features of assigned stores; utilize knowledge of store shopping patterns, layout, and competition to help stores develop relevant product presentation strategies for specific products and initiatives.
• Capacity to identify problems and develop solutions to visual merchandising opportunities at all levels and all store types.
• Special focus and management of the domestic flagship group and all new store concepts.
• Manage all aspects of the New Store Opening process for all new full price stores. Includes the entire preplanning process thru to opening. This includes excellent partnership with various cross-functional partners.
• Partnership on all corporate visual activities related to outside meetings, market set up and any other projects related to visual merchandising.
• Build and evolve cross-functional team relationships in a continuous effort to encourage teamwork and collaboration at all times.
Requirements
• Bachelor's Degree in related area.
• Minimum of 5 years directly relevant work experience.
• Visual merchandising or display experience at corporate level for a retail, multi-store environment not limited to wholesale and or DTC.
• Candidate should possess a valid driver's license.
• Must possess expert level proficiency in InDesign and Photoshop.
• Proficiency in other software design programs desired.
• Expert level proficiency in Microsoft Office.
• Must have the ability to lift up to 50lbs, sit or stand for long periods of time, crouch, kneel, stoop etc.
• Flexibility to travel based on various factors that are planned or spur of the moment.
• Availability to work evenings, weekends, and some holidays.
