Senior Manager or Director, Product Management (Lightning Console Apps)
Millions of users spend billions of hours per year using Console Apps in Company, and we need a strong PM to reimagine this experience in our Lightning user interface. This has been the #1 priority for Lightning on our exec top 100 list for the past year and you'll need to be able to deliver upon high expectations for the role.
Responsibilities:
• Formulate the vision to make millions of users super productive in console apps, accelerating adoption and migration from the classic user interface.
• Present the vision and with executives at the top level of the company to articulate the value, the proposed priorities and tradeoffs
• Become an expert understanding customer service agents, inside sales, and other high productivity users
• Lead large cross team initiatives
As an ideal candidate, you have:
• Strong technical chops - you'll need to learn nuances of the architecture to identify options and understand tradeoffs as you build out the platform. You'll need to build custom lightning components using Javascript to test out JS APIs your team creates.
• Leadership DNA - proven ability to set a vision, excite and lead a cross-functional engineering team.
• Strong user experience/design sense, with a record of building simple and intuitive products.
• Ability to work both strategically to build & communicate vision, and tactically to cover complex details of feature delivery with scrum teams
• Willing to pitch in during a crunch - Data scientist busy? You grab the list for the analysis. Developers overworked on a tight timeline? You pitch in on drafting the test plan and doing some manual testing.
• Experience with agile or lean software development process. If you're more familiar with waterfall, this role probably isn't a fit.
