We are looking for a Sr. Manager of Merchandising and Design Training and Operations to lead the Global Merchandising and Design Operations team to develop and train in process, procedures and tools that enable Global and Regional Merchandising and Design teams to achieve critical GTM activities and deadlines complete and on time. Lead special projects as determined by CMO & CPO.
Key Responsibilities:
• Clear business processes that enable efficient, simplified ways of working in order to meet critical GTM deadlines.
• Provide critical business process insights and guidance in the development of seasonal GTM calendar
• Lead team to translate GTM calendar into detailed procedures that will achieve on time completion of critical deadlines necessary for timely delivery of commercial samples and production
• Lead the development of standardized tools that enable M&D teams to execute with clarity and consistency
• Lead issue resolution and educate key opportunities to assure operational excellence within the organization
• Develop and clarify ways of working, decision rights and accountabilities for GTM milestones
• Lead the development and training of procedures that ensure critical deadlines are met on time and accurately
• Clarify and communicate decision rights, ways of working, objectives and outcomes of milestone meetings
• Orchestrate seasonal product briefs across global and local Merchandising teams
• Program lead a variety of special projects as required by the Chief Merchandise Officer, Chief Product Officer and Merchandising VP’s
• Key Relationships: This role requires a high degree of cross functional interaction with Global and Regional Merchandising and Design VP’s / Directors and GSC Directors. Exceptional level of collaboration, problem solving and communication skills required.

Skills & Qualifications:
• Bachelor degree required
• Proven working knowledge of Merchandising
• 8+ years experience within the apparel industry
• Specific working knowledge of apparel development calendars
• Proven experience in developing and implementing effective business processes
• Ability to effectively interact and build partnerships with Sr. level roles – CMO/VP/Director
• Ability to effectively problem solve
• Strong collaboration skills and the ability to influence key stakeholders
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Proficient with software applications, particularly Microsoft Word and Power Point
• Strong experience managing people and/or direct reports
