Summary
Sr. Media Manager, Company Mobile will lead all aspects of Media Strategy, from planning to execution, for Company mobile and Retail stores across Corporate and the Divisions. Sr. Media Manager, Company Mobilewill be the primary point of contact for key stakeholders to interface and collaborate with. Responsibilities include involvement in marketing planning process, strategic framework development, budget setting, financial management, tactical plan development, media execution with oversight and stewardship of Manufacturer Distribution Fund (MDF) activities for wireless partners.
Core Responsibilities
Media Strategy, Planning and Execution
• Develop media strategy and tactical plans, partnering with agency teams
• Ensure offer alignment with messaging and media strategy in collaboration with ecommerce, product marketing, and agency teams
• Ensure proper maintenance and quality control for media planning and buying
• Solicit media proposals from vendors (print, online, OOH, and non-traditional media) and work with agencies on development of POV
• Work with agencies to develop competitive reviews and present findings and relevant takeaways to product marketing teams
Collaboration
• Integrate mobile and retail into overall XFINITY media portfolio
• Coordinate Corporate & Division media efforts and evolve standards and processes/methodologies for aligning Corporate and Division Media spend
• Collaborate with Media and MarCom teams to integrate media plans for paid and non-paid media
Financial Stewardship
• Manage corporate media budgets and financial tracking and have insight into Division/Region media budgets
• Reconcile and process media invoices in a timely and accurate manner, including ATB, IO and PO approvals
• Ensure MDF commitments are on track and provide supplemental media plans, tracking and affidavits for paid and owned media
• Oversee activity to ensure timely delivery of media commitments
Tracking and Measurement
• Drive media measurement strategies and improve ROI
• Track and measure advertising effects across the shopper journey
• Work with measurement and analytics teams to determine media contributions to sales through different types of direct sales (ecommerce) and attribution modeling
• Other duties as assigned
Education and Experience
• Education Level-Bachelor's Degree or Equivalent
• Field of Study Marketing, advertising, media or related field
• Years Experience Generally requires 8-11 years related experience
Other Specific skills:
• Strong understanding of digital/mobile/social media landscape and direct marketing
• Agency management skills
• Digital first mindset with Media Planning/Buying experience
• Mobile and retail background a plus
• Experience with consumer insights and shopper behavior preferred
• Excellent analytical, quantitative, organizational and prioritization skills
• Must be innovative, proactive and a strong team player
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office, Media Planning & Buying software
• Works well under pressure and tight deadlines
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Strong presentation skills
• Project management of large scale initiatives
