Purpose
Responsible for the planning and execution of key WE events including Sales Launch, diverse Management Conferences and Senior Leadership Team Meetings, ensuring maximum impact for employees and customers.
Key Accountabilities
• Overall responsible for planning, coordinating and executing inspirational and fresh WE dual brand Seasonal launches.
• Propose suitable venues and costing for offsite launches in line with budget and get sign off from Managing Director
• Coordinate and facilitate key EKA Retailers Launches and other WE corporate special events.
• Lead the launch committee comprising of Directors, Heads of Sales/Marketing and Merchandise Directors to deliver a fully structured launch across the Group & Market
• Manage and support ‘on loan’ staff throughout the launch process. Ensure they gain the relevant required experience whilst also wider exposure to the business.
• Plan and brief a minimum of 3 agencies to service each event within the proposed budget and with maximum impact.
• Bespoke Retailer, Specialist Launches
• Work with Sales and Marketing to identify the need for bespoke launches and sell-ins aligned with key brand message and concepts.
• Establish suitable locations for all attendees and deliver with impact to agreed budget. Offer suggestions & solutions where required in order to create the WOW factor for each event.
• Work cross-functionally and suggest ways in which to recycle existing kit thus creating cost savings.
• Budget Control – full ownership of the budget across the year. Allocate costs across seasons and proactively look for where savings can be made or costs reduced by more efficient ways of working
• Play a key role in MOPS WE alignment and continuous improvement.
• Total project management accountability for events including budget and resource management.
• Lead by example in managing team to achieve a high employee engagement and high performance
• Provide a suitable framework for the performance management of team, coaching and developing junior team members to meet requirements of their role
• Provide clear direction and regular performance feedback to direct reports against SCORE objectives and KPIs.
Knowledge, Capabilitis and Experience
• Advanced user of Excel, Powerpoint, Word and MAC
• Excellent Organization Skills
• Strong negotiator
• Attention to detail
• Ability to build effective and positive working relationships internally and externally
• Works well under pressure and able to manage conflicting priorities and high workload.
• Able to work and make decisions under pressure, responding postively and flexibly to short notice changes and obstacles.
Qualifications
1. Budget Management experience of about 2-5 Mio. EURO
2. Degree educated (Project Management or Business desirable)
3. Considerable Project and/or Events Management Experience
4. 5+ years experience in managing internal and/or external corporate events of up to 1.500 people
