The Marketing Department of Cosmopolitan & Seventeen are seeking a Senior Manager, Integrated Marketing to play a key role on the integrated marketing team. The successful candidate will work with experienced members of the sales team to ideate and execute multi-platform programs for high profile luxury beauty, the LA rep, and other brands.
Qualified candidates will have a minimum of 3 years’ experience preferably in integrated marketing and media, and be highly proactive with strong communication, writing and presentation skills. Individuals should be comfortable working with high level members of sales and management and be able to effectively communicate with clients. Ability to work under deadlines and manage multiple accounts/projects simultaneously is a must. Candidates are encouraged to bring their personal interests and knowledge of pop culture and social media into the role. Although there is not much travel involved, the successful candidate needs to be available to work a few events throughout the year.
The position reports to the Senior Director, Integrated Marketing.
Specific responsibilities include:
• Work w/ approx 2 sales partners to brainstorm strategic marketing solutions & create both proactive and RFP-driven proposals/presentations
• Work closely with Hearst Digital Media to generate creative solutions and work with HDM as needed to oversee smooth integrated executions
• Work with Cosmo/17 art department to create comps and advertorials, writing creative copy as needed
• Attend sales calls and support sales partners in presenting marketing ideas as needed
• Execute sold marketing programs across Cosmo/17’s brand assets, including some event/experiential (in partnership w/ internal events team)
• Proactively anticipate needs of the department, clients and sales partners
