PURPOSE
Reporting to the Director of Digital Publishing & Commerce, oversee the day-to-day content and publishing workflow on Company website to ensure it meets business standards and deadlines, ensure changes are strategically planned and executed to ensure a seamless user experience.
RESPONSIBILITIES
• Manage a team of 6 content producers (manager, publisher and coordinator level) who execute content publishing across the Company website platforms (desktop, mobile, app), Apple TV and email marketing deployment.
• Working in partnership with development streams and team, stay informed on content management requirements and support with tracking of key projects in development.
• Collaborate closely with the internal SEO team to ensure that changes on Company website are in line with SEO guidelines and objectives.
• Collaborate closely with internal legal, Customer Service, Store operations and fulfilment teams to ensure website is compliant with their guidelines and seasonal changes.
• Guide and mentor the content team to help ensure individuals meet both their performance and development objectives. Meet weekly with each team member to ensure projects and deployments are tracking as expected. Support with any issues and ensure content is fully tested by team before go live.
• Ensure team support offshore IT partners by testing and validating new functionality is suitable for purpose.
• Manage team resource ensuring weekend and evening cover is available when required
• Grant and remove access for CMS users as required.
• Support content and merchandising team through ensuring any publishing issues are escalated to the relevant party immediately.
• Ensure team set up and participate in cross team training sessions.
• Attend weekly trade meetings, participate in ABn testing working group and user testing playbacks.
PERSON PROFILE
• Extensive experience of Web Content Management Systems
• Extensive experience of web analytics tools
• Technical mind-set and excellent computer literacy
• Familiarity with agile project management workflow
• Experience in email testing and segment building
• Demonstrates excellent attention to detail.
• Strong organisational skills
• Previous people management experience
• Proven track record in delivery of high profile projects for a large or similarly positioned brand
