We provide guidance on the usual variety of HR topics, but our also group extends to include internal communications, talent & organizational development, internal mobility, global rewards, wellness, talent acquisition, HR business partners, and of course some of the most talented and driven HR technology professionals around, all dedicated to fostering the best work experience possible for our fellow employees.
Our team is currently looking for a talented Senior HR Technology Manager.
Responsibilities
• Lead a team of experienced HR technology professionals in the creation of a multi-year strategic plan for the scope and delivery of HR technologies.
• Identify, recommend, implement, and maintain robust, scalable HR technology solutions to support Blizzard’s global HR business functions.
• Ensure that new projects and initiatives are well executed that issues are proactively identified and rapidly resolved.
• Stay abreast of shifting needs within each business group and help identify opportunities where technology can be leveraged to make HR more effective in its support of the business.
• Effectively partner across all teams within Blizzard, including but not limited to, human resources, finance, IT, Activision Blizzard HR, benefits, payroll, HRIS, IT and external vendors.
• Measure, monitor, and report on the progress of technology adoption, with the goal of increasing usage of technology as a delivery channel for HR services.
• Provide strategic direction and subject matter expertise for HR technology upgrades and enhancements to include prioritization, functional design, documentation, implementation, testing, and training.
• Develop new policies and procedures to ensure optimal effectiveness and training of HR technologies.
• Research and monitor industry trends and new developments in technology. Compare current practices and tools to new trends and practices to ensure Blizzard is operating at high levels of efficiency and excellence.
Requirements
• Bachelor’s degree in HR, computer science, or related field
• At least 8 years of HRIS experience with in-depth knowledge of the current marketplace and HR business processes
• At least 5 years of management experience leading, managing, and developing a team of HR technology professionals
• Evidence of success executing large scale technology implementations with both internal and external development teams in tandem
• Demonstrated ability to influence others, establish and maintain collaborative relationships, and provide ongoing technology thought leadership
• Demonstrated strategic planning and operational implementation skills
• Strong project management skills including the ability to manage and prioritize multiple projects simultaneously
• Excellent problem solving abilities, good business judgment, and a strong customer focus
• Demonstrated ability to identify and resolve issues with varying levels of complexity
• Demonstrated ability to lead and manage projects of significant scope across the organization
• Effective written and verbal communication skills with the ability to communicate with both technical and non-technical users
• Experience with HR system design, development, data mapping, and process re-engineering
• Superior analytic, organizational, and problem solving capability
Pluses
• Passionate about Blizzard and knowledge of our games and business
• Direct experience working in other functional areas of HR
• HR experience at a large scale publicly-traded companies
• Experience with Workforce, Oracle, MS SharePoint, and/or Jobvite
• Consultancy experience in the design and/or implementation of HR management systems
