Description:
• As a global partner, this role is responsible for key initiative for go to market.
• Responsible for finalizing merchandising strategy on the new re-platform launch in 2017.
• Leads team and owns the drive of sales, margin, turn and growth for total company across both frontline and digital channels for a defined area of responsibility.
• Works collaboratively with the team to create, execute and analyze category up-sell strategies to drive volume.
• Lead/direct E-Commerce merchandising team to achieve sales targets and revenue objectives
• Build and maintain positive working relationships with other sales channel leaders to align on strategy.
• Maintain a strong online strategy, ensuring that it realizes the brand’s full online potential while working with senior management to fit all departmental needs
• Oversee category KPI’s, financial targets, sales reporting and other measurable’ s.
• Work collaboratively with team to ensure successful execution of best in class user Experience: identifying and implementing the best practices in form of functionality, user experience, design, cross-channeling, meeting brand customer experience expectation
• Awareness and knowledge of general fashion market trends and retail practices.
• Provide strategic oversite on all site merchandising efforts, both automated and curated, including the scheduling of site content, trend shops, and user generated galleries.
• Lend subject matter expertise in application of user generated content, for online merchandising strategy.
• Work collaboratively work senior management to streamline all areas of ecommerce business including: business strategy, marketing, online store management, operations and international business development.
• Build, coach, and be point of contact for team members
• Other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Design, Merchandising or similar field; MBA preferred
• 7+ years of Web Analysis
• 7+ years of direct project involvement working with creative resources on the web
• 7+ years of Online Merchandising
• Familiarity with Attraqt.
• Familiarity with Monetate or other on site personalization, email optimization tools.
• Proficient in Magento and Full Circle
• Experience in retail/action sports: Understanding of Merchandising operations, or related merchandising planning and buying a plus
• Interpersonal skills including collaboration, communication, and customer focus
• Expertise in Microsoft Excel for data analysis and selling reporting
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal. Must be able to communicate clearly to a wide audience of stakeholders, both financial and creative.
• Some travel required.
