Job Description
Reporting to VP of Global Workplace Services, this role is responsible for all real estate and workplace services in AMER West region, which includes Company HQ in San Francisco and major, growing offices in North America west of the Rockies - California, Washington, Oregon, Utah, Arizona, and Western Canada.
Responsibilities include:
• Lead the Company Tower San Francisco opening for Workplace Services. Provide extreme attention to detail around the transfer from Strategy, Design and Projects to Workplace Services as we bring the tower online. Every part of the delivery has been double checked for the highest quality and is signed off as 'show ready' before our employee customers move in to their new space.
• Maintain, manage, enhance and refresh our Ohana work environments after delivery from the Projects team
• Responsible for maintaining all buildings in AMER West to our best in class workplace standard
• Lead the regions in showcasing best practices around our hospitality and 'show ready' vision for any events that are held in our offices.
• Coordinate with RE&WS global planning leaders and Company business units to understand space needs and develop and execute a 3 year strategic real estate plan to meet the needs of a rapidly expanding business.
• Manage a direct staff of 10-15 responsible for providing facilities management and office services which includes moves, adds and changes; office managers, receptionists, mail and food services.
• Communicate effectively and develop a strong relationship with senior executives and business units to ensure that their business needs are met and that they are informed on all RE&WS that affect them.
• Collaborate with Company finance and employee success to develop operational and project budgets and schedules.
• Create operations and project funding recommendations, manage approval process and coordinate with RE&WS operations group to bid and award contracts.
• Coordinate with RE&WS operations group to develop, document and maintain processes procedures and standards.
• Coordinate with Company security, sustainability and information technology groups to deliver projects, maintain facilities and provide emergency response services.
• Coordinate with RE&WS operations manager and Company auditors to assure that all accounting rules are adhered to and that projects are closed out within 60 days of completion.
• Coordinate with RE&WS operations manager to benchmark operations and projects with a goal of continuous improvement.
Required Skills
• A minimum of 15 years of corporate real estate experience and strong knowledge of best practices.
• Proven people and large organization management skills
• Excellent interpersonal, influencing, and strategy skills
• Expert financial analysis, written and verbal communication skills
• Strong understanding of real estate planning and operations
• Strong skills in MS Word and Excel, including basic skills in Power Point and MS Project
