Purpose and Scope:
The Senior Director, Talent Management is a responsible for translating business and organizational needs into talent strategy. This position will focus on global and local programs and initiatives related to key components of the employee life cycle including performance management, talent mobility, career development, onboarding.
Key Responsibilities:
• Lead global talent review / succession planning process for organization in key partnership with Generalists and Learning & Development (owner of Succession Planning system, forms, tools etc.)
• Partner with Learning & Development and Compensation teams on Performance Appraisal process, forms, tools.
• Partner with Learning & Development on leadership development activities
• Lead Internal Mobility Process and Programs in partnership with Talent Acquisition, Diversity and Retail teams
• Lead Global Career Management programs including “Navigating Your Career @ Company”
• Ownership of Global Onboarding Program
• Review and recommend University Relations go-forward strategy for New York offices; maintain relationships with educational institutions; manage annual Internship program
• Assess organization needs and recommend new programs as determined, based on data and research findings
• Bring forth best in class and innovative programs across all industries
Requirements:
• 10+ years of Human Resources experience
• Demonstrated experience in talent acquisition and talent management initiatives
• Experienced HR / talent business partner with a demonstrated ability to establish strong relationships with key business partners.
• Ability to work collaboratively across divisions and functions to propose solutions to business issues.
• Demonstrated organization and project management skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to effectively influence business partners at all levels.
• Strong presentation skills.
• High professional standards regarding internal customer service and confidentiality.
• Ability to think strategically while executing at a detailed level.
• Demonstrated influencing and analytical skills.
• Flexibility and adaptability; ability to successfully work under pressure and handle projects simultaneously.
• Detailed knowledge of business metrics that drive business performance.
• College degree, preferably in business or HR management.
