OUR TEAM
The BuyerVision Monetization and Marketplace teams focus is to lead in the development and building of the highest performing Audiences and the capabilities to optimize those Audiences and Marketing Spend across Digital Ads, Coupons and Promotions. The Product Leader will lead in determining the data sources and enrichment to build these audiences and make these choices for CPG Brand and Retailers to execute their Digital Advertising and Promotions Campaigns. The Product Leader will also lead in determining the pricing of the Audiences and the Execution Programs.
This is a high profile and extremely visible role at Company and the leader will have significant ownership, impact and influence on Data Partnerships, Audience Construction, Pricing, Sales and Operational decisions.
WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING
• Work with cross-functional teams -- engineering, data science, business development, and account management to formulate business requirements, develop technical designs, and bring new products to market
• Develop product roadmap to exponentially grow monetization through prioritizing coverage of ad formats, media types, channels, and tactics – Digital Ads, Digital Coupons and Promotions
• Partner with our services and ops team to streamline demand partner integration and ramp
• Develop a comprehensive Company first party data strategy to unlock new Ad/Digital Coupon & Promotions monetization potential
• Write clear and concise requirements and user stories, prioritize development items and coordinate schedules with design and engineering teams;
• Fulfill the role of Product Owner in the Agile development process.
• Work with Marketing and business to successfully launch new products and features.
• Negotiate with Development Manager, Data Science, and Enterprise Architects on features and functionalities to be included in each release
• Develop detailed functional requirements from business requirement.
• Manage and mitigate functional risks to the project
• Identify functional gaps and conflicts in requirements and drive toward a solution
• Collaborate with marketing to prepare product documentation, release notes, and training materials
• Troubleshoot and perform deep data analysis on issues
• Act as primary interface with partners
• Define the metrics for dashboards/reporting necessary to monitor the operations of the system
• Be a creative, collaborative problem solver
WHAT YOU BRING TO THE TEAM
• 12+ years’ experience as a product manager, engineering lead, or combination of the two
• Experience with Data Management Platforms DMP
• Experience with Identity Management, Cookies, Mobile App IDs and Cross Device Identity
• Familiar with protocols like HTTP and TCP/IP, architectural conventions like RESTful API design and concepts of algorithmic complexity
• Experience with NoSQL data stores (Cassandra, Hadoop, HBase)
• Proficient in SQL, able to generate complex ad-hoc queries
• Experience with Cloud Computing basics
• Domain experience in Programmatic Advertising in display, mobile, video or TV highly desired
• Additional Experience in Digital Coupons and Promotions is a huge plus.
• Experience consuming APIs, writing scripts to automate simple tasks, creating mockups / POCs
• Ability to problem solve quickly and generate flexible solutions
• Past success managing complex products and integrations in medium to large organizations.
• Proficient in Agile development, and able to integrate tightly with business and operations teams.
• Travel ~10%.
• Excellent communication and technical writing skills.
• Bachelor of Science in Computer Science or related work experience. MBA Preferred.
ADDITIONAL PREFERRED SKILLS
• BS in Engineering, Computer Science or a related field. MBA preferred.
• 12+ years of product or technical experience in a software or internet business.
• Demonstrated aptitude in core product management processes, and familiarity with working in an agile development or lean startup environment
• Strong time management, business and organizational skills.
• Strong leadership skills.
• Good communication and presentation skills.
