Position Summary:
The Senior Director, Product Management will be a key member of the product team and will work closely with VP Product to help drive the vision, roadmap and execution of the company's enterprise, consumer and platform products. This role will initially require the Senior Director to be hands-on to enable execution, while building out the product team in parallel. Domestic travel up to 20% maybe required.
Duties and Responsibilities:
• Work closely with VP Product to drive the vision, roadmap and product development for the company's consumer, enterprise and platform products.
• Gain deep insights into the needs of end users and enterprise customers through regular visits and identify impactful problems.
• Lead a team of PMs to deliver innovative solutions that delight users.
• Collaborate with BD and marketing teams closely to drive sales and product adoption.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
Supervisory Responsibilities:
Responsible for managing Sr. Product Managers.
Minimum Qualifications:
• BS/MS in Electrical Engineering or equivalent experience.
• 10+ years in Product Management of digital/consumer software products as well as B2B products
• Proven track record of setting product vision and translating vision into product roadmap and end-to-end execution
• Prior experience building and leading a successful PM team
• Automotive industry experience is a big plus.
• Agile training and experience preferred.
• Experience with mobile hardware + software preferred.
