Purpose
This role is responsible to achieve sales growth, cost efficiencies, consumer service level, and targets for the SCM NAM organization. The role ensures aligned strategies and execution between the NAM SCM, NAM Retail, eCom and Franchise management groups.
Key Responsibilities
• Support VP SCM NAM with the creation of the SCM NAM strategy from Direct-to–Consumer (DTC) and E-com perspective by providing input from the NAM Retail and e-Com business
• Defines the NAM DTC/ e-Com strategy, performance objectives and customer/consumer expectations
• Work with the NAM Retail and e-Com Senior Leadership teams to define the overall annual DTC calendar for Retail and e-Com and develop an execution plan
• Collaborate across the NAM business units to prioritize and coordinate DTC/ e-Com initiatives, share and implement lessons learned and ensure implementation in accordance with the overall NAM SCM strategy
• Lead and adapt management routines and operational measures to ensure delivery of core supply chain KPI in terms of product availability (OTIF), cost (supply chain cost as percentage of net sales) and service.
• Creates new strategies and management routines to ensure that demand and supply are broadly in balance, across short, medium and long-term horizons for the Retail and e-Com business across all NAM.
• Develop and direct the seasonal calendar across Purchasing, Order Fulfillment and DC operations to ensure service and cost performance expectations are fully met.
• Improve and standardize processes within the SCM blueprint and act a lead market for SCM eCom operating proactively.
• Lead and develop flexible management processes that ensure achievement of OTIF to the consumer for eCom; with a clear focus on last mile execution and best consumer experience.
• Direct and manage the overall project roadmap, ensuring the portfolio fully meets current DTC strategic roadmap objectives.
• Demonstrate strong leadership skills, fostering cross-functional thinking and reinforcing the 3C’s leadership framework.
• Ability to motivate and lead international, cross functional teams. Strong focus on team development, identifying strengths and opportunities for each individual in the team.
• Support key leaders in Portland, New York, Indianapolis, and Spartanburg which will require frequent travel (~50% while building the organization).

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
• Excellent communication skills, able to interact effectively with all levels in the organization
• Experienced in leading and development of people/teams. Provide clear vision/direction
• Pro-active and ability to think E2E with a North American/Global mindset. Understand complexity and challenges of the business
• Excellent numerical/analytical skills. Strong ability to identify root cause and solve problems
• Very strong Customer service orientation - a focus on consumer needs
• Strong English language proficiency both written and verbal
Qualifications
1. 10-15 years work experience in a global company. Ideally in the Sporting Goods Industry, FMCG, Retail, eCommerce, and/or Supply Chain
2. minimum 5 years management responsibility
3. Bachelors Degree, Masters Degree a plus
4. CPIM, Lean Six Sigma Certification a plus
