• Reports into the Group Director that manages a part of the East Coast Sales Team.

WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING
Company is seeking an industry-leading Retail/CPG expert with the ability to connect and strategically communicate with Retail clients to deliver against a sales revenue goal. The Senior Director Brand Development will be a smart, creative and detail-oriented employee who will significantly contribute to the success of the Retail Account Team.
• Manage and develop strategic, complex client relationships based on trust and value-add
• Provide consultation and creative solutions that drive customer strategies
·Building business partnerships as a marketing consultant
Build Strategic Retail Partnerships
• Develop, client relationships across key functional areas
• Become fluent in Company's comprehensive (RVP) Retail Value Proposition; ensure key client constituents clearly understand the benefits.
• Consult on Industry Trends and best-in-class CRM strategies
• Build and deploy Joint Business Plans that align Company capabilities with retailer’s strategic goals
Create and Execute Strategic Plans
• Collaborate to build Strategic Account Plans that align and deliver against annual revenue goals and key client strategic objectives
• Manage internal financial forecasting and reporting
• Design and manage efficient and effective consumer campaigns and services
• Command a strong understanding of industry data and trends
WHAT YOU BRING TO THE TEAM
EDUCATION:
• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing or related field. MBA a plus.
EXPERIENCE:
• Five (5) years in Retail/CPG Marketing Sales or related field required
• If internal candidate, minimum of 1 year of employment as Director – Business Development in Retail Sales
• Strong knowledge of the current CPG Retail environment, with emphasis on behavior-based loyalty marketing
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to interface, consult and sell at all levels
• Proven track record of developing relationships with clients, cross-functional team members and business partners
• Strong analytical skills and ability to adopt new BI (Business Insights) Tools
• Able to professionally present multi-media sales presentations
• Organization and time management skills with attention to detail
• Strong working knowledge of Excel and proficiency with other basic software packages (Word, Outlook, PowerPoint).
• Strong relationship builder and ability to work cross-functionally within Company
