Senior Brand Communication Manager The North Face EMEA
PRIMARY ACCOUNTABILITIES:
• Create and develop brand media and PR strategies ensuring global consistency, to help fuel demand and drive traffic across EMEA region.
• Manage and execute seasonal brand campaigns and overall content strategy working closely with central media agency and 10 PR agencies across key markets.
• Lead, coach and develop the brand communications team.
• Work closely and align with American and Asian brand and communication partners.
• Leverage and integrate consumer insights to deliver effective consumer led campaigns and brand experiences.
• Manage and own the paid media and PR budget to maximize ROI and achieve financial plans. Track and monitor budget on a monthly-basis
• Collaborate with Marketing / Sales / Retail / Product / e-Commerce and incorporate feedback, especially from local markets, to address markets needs and improve Go To Market integration and execution.
• Building strategies and protocols to protect brand through effective crisis management.
• Building media training programs for senior leadership.
• Leading influencer and celebrity endorsement programs, incl. TV product placements.
• Manage and own the media and PR budget to maximize ROI and achieve financial plans. Track and monitor budget on a monthly basis to ensure compliance with company approved numbers.
ORGANISATION:
Direct Reports: 1 (Jr. PR Manager)
QUALIFICATIONS:
• Academic: University or Business School Degree, Bachelor or Master level.
• Experience: at least 7 years of experience in Brand Management, PR and/or Communication. Experience in leading a team.
• Deep understanding of The North Face brand with a passion for the outdoor and athletic industries.
• Language skills: Fluent in English (both written and spoken). Notions of German, French, Spanish and Italian would be a plus.
• Accepting travelling as part of the job (20-40 days a year).
