The Senior Art Director works closely with the creative team, internal account teams and external clients in all stages of the creative process to provide strong conceptual ideas and bring them to life.
Responsibilities and Expectations
SKILLS (Client & Stakeholder Engagement, Business & Project Management, Business Development and Talent Development/Leadership)
•Produce creative concepts and deliver creative ideas across all platforms for briefs and new business pitches
•Establish art direction, style, and tone of digital concepts and/or communications
•Ensure materials are clear, concise and persuasive to help bring the program strategy to life
•Ensure that project deliverables meet the needs of the client
•Work closely with the design and copywriting teams, internal account teams and external clients to participate in all stages of the creative process, from brainstorming to conceptual development
•Manage production processes and archiving for projects
•Help communicate creative ideas in presentations to clients
•Inspire teammates and other agency associates with your creativity, personality and work ethic
•Understand the concept behind creative work and how it achieves client and business goals
•Stay on top of trends through business/industry monitoring and outside resources (e.g., research bodies, academics, industry gurus)
Qualifications
Basic Qualifications
•At least seven years of relevant experience, preferably in an agency setting
Preferred Qualifications
•A Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Fine Arts, Advertising or Graphic Design preferred
•Experience in an agency environment such as: marketing, advertising or PR
•Strong portfolio with demonstrated examples working across multiple channels including web, mobile, social and experiential
•Clear understanding of the creative process and deliver projects on time and budget while answering the client brief
•Ability to work cross-functionally and with a fast-paced team
•Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines
•Ability to own projects, demonstrate good judgment when working with team members and client contacts, and take initiative
•Experience managing day-to-day changes at every level of detail
•An expert in creating brand experiences through a wide range of channels from web, mobile, experiential to social
•Ability to think strategically and conceptualize creatively
•Master in storytelling and crafting presentations that sell ideas
•Experience working on new business presentations and preparing creative themes and taglines
