Responsibilities
Company is looking for a Senior Analyst of Digital and Cross-Platform Ad Sales Research to aide development of sales-driven research and analytical solutions for NBCU’s suite of networks and brands. This critical thinker will support the Senior Manager of Ad Sales Research in solving complex problems within today’s media landscape, and building marketplace positioning for NBCU digital partners (including BuzzFeed, Vox, and others). This role will also be responsible for reporting and performance evaluation of advertiser campaigns, in addition to contributing towards greater ad sales research initiatives for the NBCU portfolio, including some of today’s most exciting entertainment properties. Candidates must have experience using research and analytics to develop actionable insights and effective storytelling on behalf of advertisers.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Collaborate with Ad Sales and Marketing teams by providing performance and success stories for custom campaign sponsorships on partnership platforms (Buzzfeed, Vox, and Apple News to name a few)
Uncover audience and marketplace insights which showcase value of NBCU’s digital portfolio - including maintaining reports on audience performance and engagement
Generate reporting and measurement for digital campaigns across partner platforms, ad products, and other innovative distribution initiatives of Company
Field and deliver ad hoc cross-platform analyses to benefit ad sales initiatives
Contribute portfolio and campaign specific insights to help drive business decisions and advertiser revenue
Train teammates on digital measurement execution
Qualifications/Requirements
Bachelor’s Degree required in relevant field
1+ years’ experience in digital research or analytics, preferably at a relevant digital video destination
Desired Characteristics
General knowledge of digital measurement (tagging, SDK implementation, reporting and effectiveness studies) on behalf of advertiser campaigns
Understanding of cross-platform media landscape and consumption habits
Working knowledge of Analytics toolsets including Adobe, Google, YouTube, Facebook Insights, etc.
Mastery of Microsoft Office
Strong communication, presentation and interpersonal skills
Ability to multitask, work on multiple projects simultaneously and effectively
