An integral part of our customer service focus, includes contact centres across Canada supporting all of our Company Mobility and Company Residential Services customers. Our Customer Operations team is responsible for strategy, design and delivery of core call centre tools and processes, including queue strategy, routing, and call monitoring tools.

Position Description:
The Senior Analyst will be a key member of Company’s Business Intelligence Client Insight Team and help shape and execute the future analytical strategy in this space for Company. The Senior Analyst will work closely with our internal clients and the rest of the BI team to ensure the growth and use of our analytical assets evolve with the industry and maintain Company’s competitive BI advantage. As Senior Analyst you will also ensure our growth is scalable, our insight products are simple to use, our internal business partners passionately leverage BI and most of all our insight drives strong business value.
Job Duties/Accountabilities:
• Research, evaluate and test future looking strategies for BI and customer experience improvement analytics and champion thought leadership
• Work with various stakeholders to build long term BI roadmaps, gain buy-in & participation and ultimately bring new and great analytical ideas into reality
• Steer and guide teams as they adopt new ways of working with BI and analytics
• Identify operational efficiency opportunities in the way BI works in Company today
• Diagnose, assess, troubleshoot and fix issues impeding the success of BI
• Document, train and coach other leaders to successfully usher in new BI practices in their respective business units
• Support key strategic initiatives in our client teams to ensure they align with the overall Client Insight BI strategy
• Participate in team planning and the creation of an aggressive but achievable BI evolution plan, and guide the execution thereof
• Make recommendations on new tools and new ways of working, based on proven industry practices or equivalent analysis, to improve BI value
• Be a BI ambassador and help lead Company’s continued culture shift toward leading-edge BI
Critical Qualifications/Competencies:
• Strong analyst with 5+ years experience driving business improvement through compelling analytical storylines and recommendations
• Able to see the big picture across many data perspectives and lines of business
• Programming skills in various databases/systems (SQL, Hadoop, Java, etc)
• Strong knowledge of data preparation and structuring for analytics. Experience with analytical data modeling is a preferential asset
• Experience creating a vision, strategy and execution plan in the realm of BI
• Proven written and oral presentation skills with experience presenting to all levels of an organization
• Can self-manage priorities in a rapidly changing and growing environment
• Able to hold your stance on well grounded facts, while appropriately adjusting plans based on new information or shifting corporate priorities
• Thrives on pressure, well organized
• Experience inspiring and leading virtual teams across multiple locations
• Must be a team player who’s personal success is drawn from team success
• Serious about personal improvement and growth of self and others
Bilingualism is an asset (English and French)
