We are actively seeking a Territory Manager to support our NOAM Higher Education Sales team, or our K12 sales team. Based in our Certiport offices in Utah, this position is responsible for contributing to sales and support, working in multiple market segments within the North American Sales Team, and working with multiple product lines. This is a quota carrying sales position, with full sales responsibility within the assigned territory. The Territory Manager will contribute independent new sales and renewals of industry recognized assessment, test preparation, curriculum, training and certification exam products to multiple market segments and to support team initiatives. The expectation is that this individual will meet their own annual sales goals.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
75% Territory Sales:
◦ Contribute sales and support in multiple market segments within the NOAM Sales Team, working with multiple product lines and territories, within an assigned territory.
◦ Outbound calling and prospecting.
◦ Provide customer solutions and presentations – on the phone and occasionally in person.
◦ Close new sales and renewals over the phone.
◦ Overcome objections and resolve concerns.
15% Territory Support:
◦ Use CRM and other internal systems and tools to track and forecast sales opportunities and record account interaction.
◦ Support accounts, their assessment, training and certification programs and companywide sales initiatives.
◦ Manage contract negotiations with C level executives as needed.
◦ Travel out of state for trade shows and sales meetings.
10% Other duties as assigned
Position will travel 20% to 30%
Qualifications
Education and Experience:
• Bachelor’s degree in a business related field preferred.
• Minimum of 5 years sales experience
• Sales experience in the education or learning products market a plus
• Preferred experience in the Education and/or Workforce Development market sectors.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
• Performance driven and results oriented
• Work well under heavy sales pressure
• Proven telesales achievements
• Self-motivated—able to work independently to achieve Certiport and individual sales goals
• Excellent oral, written, time management and presentation skills
• Able to quickly develop trusting and cooperative relationships over the phone and in person
• Knowledge of computer systems, CRMs, and Office apps required
• Proven record of meeting quota and sales goals
