Overview
We are currently seeking a Sales Support Coordinator to assist our Sales Team, with a primary focus on the national accounts, specifically Barnes & Noble, Books-A-Million, and Ingram. This role will report to the VP/Director of Sales and work in tandem with our Barnes & Noble, Books-A-Million and Ingram Sales representatives.
Responsibilities
• Provide sales support to National Account Managers selling to Barnes & Noble, Books-A-Million, and Ingram.
• Track orders and inventory levels for Barnes & Noble, Books-A-Million, and Ingram.
• Prepare and coordinate all title information for monthly title sell-in.
• Respond to customer requests for title information, samples, and general inquiries.
• Maintain daily POS files and research point-of-sale history as requested.
• Organize and maintain coop grids and ongoing seasonal materials for the department.
• Attend Launch, Planning, and Sales Conference for all titles handled.
• Assist in maintaining Company website and Company website
• Coordinate signed book distribution for both Barnes & Noble and Books-A-Million.
• Provides additional administrative support to the department, as needed.
Qualifications
• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work experience
• At least 1 year of relevant work experience required
• Excellent organizational skills and strong attention to detail
• Ability to set priorities under pressure
• Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Outlook, Excel, and PowerPoint
• Excellent written and oral communication skills
• Ability to multi-task and manage time effectively
