Context
Reporting in to the Sales Support team Leader, the postholder will be responsible for contributing towards revenue targets for yourself, the Sales Support Team and the BTEC and Apprenticeship division as a whole. This will be done through managing a case load of customer accounts, qualifying new business requests and having a flexible approach to supporting the division with administrative and business processes.
The role requires good internal relationships with many other departments, including Key and Regional Account Managers, Customer Services and Approvals teams, to ensure your customers are supported in the best way possible.
You will also be a point of reference for customers querying new products and services via telephone and email.
Key Accountabilities
• To manage a range of “Tail” end customer accounts, ensuring all financial targets are exceeded whilst maintaining a focus on excellent customer service
• Manage a caseload of “Tail” WBL customers, building positive and effective relationships to ensure all financial targets are exceeded
• Receiving and assisting with customer queries via phone, email and online meetings
• Manage new business applications via the Website and ensure they are allocated to the correct member of the sales team
• Support all members of the Sales Team and stakeholders with admin needs when required
• Report weekly/monthly stats to the Sales Support team Leader
• Distribution of key sales collateral as requested by Sales colleagues
• To assist with all administrative duties required for the department to run smoothly

• Person Specification
The Ideal candidate will:
• Have a passion for business and customer service (Essential)
• Have a minimum grade C in English and Maths at GCSE level or equivalent (Essential)
Sales & Telesales Apprenticeship Framework – Level 2
During the Apprenticeship, the post holder will work towards gaining a Level 2 Certificate in Sales & Telesales, through work based learning.
