Sales Planner, The Beauty Collection
The Sales Planner is a key member of the Digital Sales Support team focused on supporting digital advertising presale campaign activities from pitch to Insertion Order approval through to post-sale campaign activities and campaign wrap-up. This role is responsible for fulfilling requests for proposals and coordinating with the appropriate teams on packaging, pricing and inventory. We are looking for team members with a track record of success in digital advertising and managing client relationships. The ideal candidate possesses keen analytical skills, attention to detail, the ability to multi-task and clear, and concise communication skills.
Primary Responsibilities:
• Manages the pre and post-sale process from RFP to final billing cycles
• Work with sales and marketing teams to interpret and develop media plans based on campaign KPIs and sales strategy
• Serve as the day to day client contact for all digital media plan submissions, plan revisions and planning inquiries during the initial sale
• Responsible for entry of the plan into internal systems and working with appropriate parties to convert Insertion Orders
• Co-lead kick-off call with Sales to communicate pertinent information required to launch and manage campaigns
• Participate in brainstorming sessions with: Sales Reps, Marketing, and other internal teams for large RFPs
• Accompany Sales Reps on select sales calls (if materially valuable to closing the sale)
• Monitor client KPI’s to ensure campaign success
• Maintain service excellence through effective client communication
• Modify client presentation templates for select digital campaigns
• Work with Inventory Management team to monitor and manage pacing and performance, provide proactive optimizations to achieve campaign KPIs
• Monitor pacing and performance with Revenue Operations team
• Revise IOs for optimizations and help to identify upsell opportunities with client and/or agency
• Request, receive and process creative assets to send to QA and Ad Ops
• Coordinate with Ad Ops and agency/client to answer spec questions and ensure smooth and timely asset tagging and collection
• Communicate with Sales to ensure correct technical specs for Ad Ops are submitted to clients
• Troubleshoot incorrect assets, specs, tags, etc. with the agency/client, Ad Ops, and Ad Tech
• Provide launch screenshots (tear sheets) to agency/client
• Provide clients and/or agency partners with weekly campaign updates and performance reports throughout the duration of a campaign
• Attend weekly meetings with the Sales Reps to discuss the status of digital campaigns and address any issues
• Provide campaign wrap-up reports to the agencies/clients
Desired Skills and Qualifications:
• 1-2 years of experience in digital sales support
• Bachelor’s Degree
• Proficiency in Windows/Mac, and Microsoft Office, particularly Microsoft Excel
• Familiarity with Agency Media Planning / Buying tools and Order Management Systems (AdBook)
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to multi-task
• Keen analytical skills
• Strong attention to detail
• Excellent with presentation applications (Keynote and PowerPoint)
