POSITION OVERVIEW:
The Sales Enablement Marketing Manager is a part of the Lead Generation & Content Acquisition Team and isresponsible for developing strategies, programs and materials that consistently and systematically enable sellers to have valuable, relevant conversations with the appropriate set of client stakeholders at each stage of the buyer’s journey by creating and executing sales enablement tools and programs for Company Enterprise sales teams. Sales enablement tools support increased sales productivity and lead to increased revenue.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Coordinate with sales and marketing leadership to develop a strategy and execute sales enablement tool development and adoption plan for Company Enterprise sales teams which contributes to revenue goals.
• Development of presentation materials that address customer challenges and solutions – creating dialogue for sellers which will lead to increased revenue.
• Leverage tracking and reporting to measure marketing effectiveness and develop strategies for user adoption including constant improvement of tools; working cross functionally to accomplishment results.
• Management, training and optimization of various sales enablement tool portals; achieving user adoption goals and supporting users and sales channels as required.
• Continual development of customer centric messaging and creative materials to support sales efforts of Company Enterprise sales teams.
• Development of marketing materials, teaming with Content team, to create and support challenger sales messaging that support various campaign strategies.
• Develop both internal and external campaigns that will contribute to revenue goals.
REQUIREMENTS:
• Minimum of 10+ years of progressive experience in developing and implementing sales enablement tools, preferably in the cable/telecommunications/technology industry.
• Proven track record of creating and implementing innovative, sales enablement strategies that increase sellers’ effectiveness to close sales.
• Proven ability to translate a product portfolio into key benefits, as well as connecting customer challenges to solutions.
• Proven track record of creating and executing effective sales enablement tools using automation to drive revenue; ability to leverage reports and analyze results for program optimization.
• Proven track record of prospect targeting utilizing a structured, scientific market segmentation approach that incorporates demographic and behavioral data.
• Creative agency management, creative direction, and associated expense management. Tracks and manages a marketing expense budget.
• Provides constant accounting and forecasting versus budget, bids projects to various vendors, coordinates spending with Corporate.
• Ability to relate to sellers’ challengers and demonstrated understanding of how sales enablement tools help solve those challenges leading to sales success.
• Proven leadership skills; leading a team of direct reports to accomplish goals.
• Must be a team player willing to actively collaborate with marketing and sales peers, and key stakeholders to effectively align and communicate key goals and objectives.
• Exceptional verbal, written and interpersonal communications skills.
• Strong financial, analytical and project management skills are required.
• Relevant copy writing and creative samples.
• All other duties as assigned
NOTE: Position may be located in Stamford CT, Denver CO or Charlotte NC.
EDUCATION:
Bachelor's degree (B.A. or B.S.) from four-year College or University; or equivalent training, education and experience. MBA preferred.
