We are currently looking for a Sales Director to join our team in the Chicago Market.
As a Sales Director, you will:
Serve as front-line sales leader responsible for developing, directing, and implementing area sales goals and objectives that meet profitable and results through quota attainment. You will provide leadership and support to area sales team by setting expectations, driving new business, and maintaining existing client base.
Do you have the following required qualifications?
• Bachelor’s degree in business, architecture, interior design, marketing, communications
• 8 years sales and account development experience, including 6 years in commercial product sales, including 3 years in sales supervisory role (with direct reports) responsible for developing, coaching, and leading sales team to obtain sales results. If no degree, 16 years sales and account development experience, including 6 years in commercial product sales, including 3 years in sales supervisory role responsible for developing, coaching, and leading sales team to obtain sales result
• Ability to travel frequently up to 60 percent of the time in assigned sales area; occasional overnight and international travel to attend meetings and training
• Current and continuing right to work in the United States without sponsorship
• Ability to work in Chicago without relocation assistance
Do you have the following preferred qualifications?
• Furniture industry experience.
Ideally, you have also demonstrated the following:
• Must be visionary leader capable of initiating ideas and implementing strategies.
• Ability to connect across geographies and corporate headquarters to align actions with business directives/company initiatives
• Ability to coach and develop people, build teams, deliver results, and facilitate change
• Ability to successfully manage others and manage territory; strong business and financial acumen skills
• Strong negotiation skills to close business and manage relationships
• Must be strategic and analytical thinker capable of driving creative and tactical business decisions that support Company initiatives
• Ability to make quick decisions and build consensus with team members and across all functional areas of business
