Sales Development Representative - Storyful

Description
Sales Development Representatives (SDRs) are responsible for identifying and creating new qualified sales opportunities. The SDR manages the inbound lead activity, qualifying active interest and developing opportunity in prospect accounts. The SDR will also coordinate with the Director of Sales and CRO to determine the accounts that require research and prospecting activities to secure a sufficient flow of additional qualified opportunities. An implicit responsibility of the SDR is to conduct business dealings in a way that creates a superior prospect experience that will set the stage for effective Sales follow-up, as well as future sales.
Responsibilities
• Prospect, educate, qualify, and develop prospective accounts and inbound leads to create Sales-ready leads and related opportunities.
• Research accounts, identify key players, generate interest and develop accounts to stimulate opportunity.
• Disseminate opportunities to the Director of Sales & CRO, educating as necessary about the opportunity.
• Successfully manage and overcome prospect objections.
• Become a trusted resource and develop superior relationships with prospects.
• Update prospect interaction in Company website to ensure efficient lead management.
• Consistently achieve qualified opportunity quotas to ensure revenue objectives.
• Provide closed-loop feedback to ensure continuous process optimization.
Required Skills/Experience
• Excellent verbal and written business communication skills
• A self-starter with a track record of successful, credible lead follow-up and sales development at multiple levels within an organization
• Familiarity with Brands space a plus
• Opportunity qualification and objection handling
• Proven success achieving in measurable inside sales goals in an automated sales environment where accurate entry and management of lead data in a CRM system was required
• Ability to work in a high-energy sales team environment; team player
• Positive and energetic relationship building skills twinned with business acumen
• Sales training and Company website experience a plus
• Autonomous in nature and an entrepreneurial spirit
• Proven to thrive in a start-up environment
• Expertise in the digital marketing ecosystem, including but not limited to UGC, video, brand content, and social
• Bachelor Degree or equivalent experience required
