Overview
To assist the sales process by coordinating the ad material for changes, and kills that will impact Ad Order Entry and Traffic. To answer and research billing inquiries or issues for sales
and to keep the Sales Support Supervisor and the Sales Managers apprised of such issues that impact revenues.
Responsibilities
• Communicate with Finance Service Center to ensure prompt payment and efficient resolution to billing transactions
• Respond to customers’ inquiries, requests and orders in a timely and responsible manner
• Operate within approved deadlines, policies and procedures.
• Work effectively with team members and other departments to achieve goals and overcome obstacles
• Prepare and process spec, live, and changes to ad materials
• Process payments
• Adhere to publishing/delivery deadlines consistent with the Company’s commitment to quality and services to readers and advertisers
• Facilitate correspondence as necessary without getting in the middle of the sale process
• Other duties and projects as may be assigned by management
Qualifications
• High school education, plus a minimum of 2 years newspaper or online advertising or related experience
• Must have experience with, and knowledge of, print and online processes
• PC skills working within a Windows environment are necessary including word processing, AdIt billing and tracking, spreadsheet and data base experience
• Typing skills with accuracy, minimum 45 WPM
• Requires strong time management skills
• Requires strong communication skills to clearly and effectively share relevant information through listening, one-on-one, group and in writing
Must be flexible and have strong project management skills to handle multiple projects in a fast paced environment
