OVERVIEW
Responsible for field operations of Wholesale Shop-in-shops and Concession Shop-in-shops in the areas of daily shop operations, policies and procedures and Concessions inventory control.
Acts as the liaison between the field and Corporate regarding operational needs in the field, giving shops direct and precise information to ensure consistency and compliance.
This position is regionally based.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
OPERATIONS & ADMINISTRATION:
• Maintain proficient level knowledge of all in-store systems
• Maintain expert knowledge across all Operational policies & procedures
• Exhibit proficiency in computer programs used by the Company including: Word, Excel, Powerpoint
INVENTORY CONTROL/LOSS PREVENTION:
• Collaborate with Store Managers in areas of risk management, physical security, and store cash controls
• Support and assist in staff training in all areas of appropriate register usage and maintenance
• Determine the type of negative on hand balance to ensure that your actions will correct the negative balance
• Execute the shipping and receiving of audits in a timely manner
• Perform cycle counts on a consistent basis
• Lead the team in LP/POS audits
• Manage bi-annual stock takes, organizing necessary equipment, scheduling and support
• Analyze stock take results and propose action plans for focus doors, supporting with training when necessary
PROCUREMENT:
• Continuously look for areas of opportunity within current supplies & packaging for stores
• Identify and work with Line Manager on additional supplies, packaging and key elements needed
• Ensure to benchmark multiple vendors to provide best sourcing & pricing on all new initiatives
PROJECT DELIVERY:
• Work with Operations team on various projects; identify process improvements to maximize efficiencies
• Partner with Manager and Team to highlight and support any new training tools being delivered to stores
• Support Line Manager on content and logistics for external meetings – RD/DM meetings, Store Conferences, etc.
• Coordinate & facilitate any production needs of operational tools & documentation
COSTS CONTROL:
• Identify possible centralized services through Europe
• Help to facilitate and track invoicing, monthly spend & vendor management across Europe
• Support as necessary with reviewing store expenditures through EPICOR and JDA
• Continually strive to reduce costs
TRAINING & DEVELOPMENT:
• Spend time in stores gaining insight and feedback into possible in-store improvements
• Partner with Line Manager on any new tools being delivered to stores
• Support Field Rollouts as required and additional ad hoc training needs
REQUIREMENTS
• Minimum 3 years Retail Management experience, preferably working with premium brands
• Must be fluent in English and Spanish
• Expert knowledge of computer applications; ex: Excel, Word, and Power Point.
