Job Description
The Relationship Manager will join a team that provides outstanding relationship management services to Company Asset Management’s institutional client base.
The Relationship Manager for Company Future Builder will focus on servicing and growing our Group Retirement Savings Plan program by working closely with Company Asset Management colleagues in planning and executing strategies that deepen these relationships. Company Future Builder is a program for small to medium-sized employers. It delivers an administratively simple group retirement savings plan that provides our client's employees with a disciplined online savings strategy and access to Company Asset Managment investment funds.
Your success will be measured by your ability to enhance the quality of Company Asset Management’s client relationships and to grow revenues with new and existing clients.
Specific Responsibilities
The following are some of the key responsibilities of the Relationship Manager Company Future Builder:
§Work closely with colleagues to gain a thorough understanding of Company Future Builder and Company Asset Management's investment products and processes.
§Build a solid, productive working relationship with the Relationship Management, Client Service, Product Specialist, and Sales Support teams, and with our outsourced third-party administrator.
• Maintain and expand client relationships through regular presentations and meetings with client's Executive Management teams. Identify client needs and industry trends to drive revenue growth opportunities in group retirement savings plans.
• Grow relationship with key internal partners in Company Commercial Banking, Retail Banking and Wealth to build awareness of the opportunity to cross-sell Company Future Builder and generate client referrals.
• Work closely with Sales Support team to develop marketing and presentation materials, and sales strategies.
§Travel will be required.
Job Requirements:
The candidate will be required to have the following experience:
§ Five to seven years of relationship management experience and a proven track record of business-to-business sales.
§ Excellent communication and presentation skills, for both small and large audiences.
§ Market knowledge and sound foundational understanding of group retirement and defined contribution pension plans, and associated investment solutions.
§ Commercial, retail banking experience and/or wealth management experience would be an asset.
§ High energy, results-oriented individual with a commitment to providing an exceptional level of service to clients.
§ Very strong interpersonal skills, strong time management and organizational skills.
§ Ability to work across teams and manage through influence.
§ Self motivated and highly organized.
§ French would be an asset.
Education
The ideal candidate will have a strong academic background. Financial industry designations would be an asset (i.e., CIM, CSC, CFP, CIWM, FCSI, CFA, etc…).
