The TGH Psychology & Neuropsychology team provides assessment, consultation, and treatment for both adult and pediatric populations throughout the continuum of care. Psychology & Neuropsychology staff represent a high degree of specialization in treating individuals with medical, rehabilitation, and neuropsychological needs informed by a biopsychosocial model of care. Psychologists have key leadership roles within their multidisciplinary teams and participate in teaching, applied clinical research, and team building/support activities.

Join our TGH Psychology & Neuropsychology team in beautiful Tampa Bay! Our team provides assessment, consultation, and treatment for both adult and pediatric populations throughout the continuum of care. Psychology & Neuropsychology staff represent a high degree of specialization in treating individuals with medical, rehabilitation, and neuropsychological needs informed by a biopsychosocial model of care. Psychologists have key leadership roles within their multidisciplinary teams and participate in world class clinical care, training and applied clinical research.
We are seeking a Rehabilitation Psychologist to work within our new, state of the art inpatient Rehabilitation Center, providing multidisciplinary consultation, assessment, intervention, family education and program development. Specific interest in and experience with spinal cord injury, limb loss, transplant and complex neurological conditions is desired.
TGH is the area’s only Level I trauma center and one of just two ABA-verified adult & pediatric burn centers in Florida. TGH is a nationally designated comprehensive stroke center and has a 32-bed Neuroscience Intensive Care Unit. You would be joining a team of collegial and experienced professionals who are dedicated to clinical excellence. In addition to clinical work, we have training agreements with local internship and fellowship programs as well as a Health Psychology Fellowship program within our department.
Qualifications
Applicants must have a Ph.D./Psy.D. in Clinical/Counseling Psychology from an APA-accredited program and an APA approved pre-doctoral internship.
· Post-doctoral fellowship in Rehabilitation Psychology preferred.
· Current licensure/license eligible in the State of Florida required.
- Must meet the credentialing guidelines for full medical staff membership.
- Bilingual in Spanish is desirable but not required.
- Certification in CBT-I, CPT, EMDR or other evidence based treatments a plus
