Job Summary:
The Regional Import Manager is part of the client account team based in a Branch / Region. The purpose of the role is to drive import revenue by acting as the primary point of contact and subject matter expert of local / regional assets to clients and the national sales team.
Responsibilities
• Regularly calls on and interfaces with national advertisers in a local market/region as a subject matter experts on market assets responding to questions and requests in a timely manner to drive revenue and sustain excellent direct client relations
• Works with the national sales, including NSG and national export sellers, to provide intelligence on how to best sell a market / region, seeking opportunities to increase revenue by providing additional options or solutions for future campaigns
• Assists in creating strategies for developing new and deepening existing business
• Provides high quality information on the local market, assisting in proposal strategies, maximizing market inventory and providing tactical inventory coverage options
• Maintains account plans that support development and/or sustainment of relationships with local agencies and/or direct regional contacts, by staying integrated with national sales teams and current with status of client needs; develops relationships with key local influencers (list aligned with local and NSG sales leadership) to drive awareness of CCOA differentiation and performance
• Maintains a list of in market contacts and customers for all national accounts to ensure clarity around customer decision mapping and key touch points
• As directed and assigned, oversees the coordination and follow-up for agencies or direct clients, including market rides, entertaining, presentations, and other after-campaign actions within the local / regional market
• Ensures the integrity of market sales inventory, rates and sales strategies within CCOA’s Sales & Proposal systems
• Monitors and manages the market/region’s import activity, including outstanding proposals and pipeline
• Proactively liaises with sales to monitor and approve any rates and inventory negotiations required to close a deal
• Manages post-contract activity as needed; coordinates and ensures fulfillment of client campaigns including materials, production execution and posting instructions quickly resolving issues when they arise
• Maintains a list of in market contacts / customers for all national accounts to ensure customer decision mapping
• Produces market / regional Proof of Performance upon campaign completion for further sustainment of relationships with local agencies and direct regional contacts. Maintains integration with the national sales teams to fulfill direct client needs including but not limited to POP materials
• Performs other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
• Five + years in a successful sales, advertising, or marketing services organization
• Knowledge of Clear Channel Outdoor products, revenue & expense drivers
• Deep knowledge of the outdoor advertising business & competitive environment, national strategy, pricing, budget, rate & occupancy impacts in the local market/regional
• Demonstrated insight into “sell and win the market” and an ability to guide others on competitive dynamics
• Proficiency in market geography and the ability to navigate the market / region for client ride presentations
• Excellent collaboration and client service skills; able to easily develop and foster productive business relationships with stakeholders at all levels
• Ability to quickly learn and use company and customer system(s)
• Deep and broad business acumen with strong analytical, decision-making and problem-solving skills
• Ability to interact effectively and professionally with clients during market visits
• Excellent verbal and written communications skills including acumen in delivering presentations, ability to analyze and interpret requests and directions. Able to compose emails and other written documentation clearly and concisely to all levels of the organization and related contacts.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office software applications (i.e., Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint.)

Education
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Advertising, Media, Marketing, or equivalent field, or a combination of relevant work and educational experience
Physical Demands
• Ability to sit and/or stand at a desk for a minimum of 8 hours a day
• Ability and expectation for in-market/region travel of up to 30% for market rides, market visits, presentations, etc.; Expectation for occasional travel out of market for presentations
• Access to a reliable vehicle
• Must possess a valid driver’s license
