The Company @Policy team focuses on public policy issues posed by the continuing spread of digital technology and web-based communications services around the world. These issues range from freedom of expression, online safety, intellectual property, copyright, privacy, and Internet freedom.
The @Policy team also works to showcase the role of Company in government and for civic participation through its so-called @Gov work. • Demonstrate entrepreneurial drive with respect to developing and implementing Company and Periscope integrations into the work of government and civic entities in ways that showcase the power of these platforms to meet the needs of governments and citizens.
• Prepare training and presentation materials, including Keynote presentations, case studies, training handouts, and/or best practice guides for internal and external audiences.
• Meet with key government, political, and civic customers and represent Company on panels and in group training settings.
• Conduct research into government, political and civic use of Company, working with other Company team members to identify key metrics and narrative-boosting examples of successful use.
• Contribute content to @gov, @policy, @nonprofits, and @twitterforgood handles and related blogs products.
• Execute routine management tasks for the @policy team on government-related Company issues, including reviewing and approving requests for account verification, conducting outreach for new feature deployments, and maintaining contact lists for key client customers.
• Be a core member of the @Policy team globally for event integrations, such as our efforts around elections, candidate debates, national party conventions, and other major government/political events.

• Strong entrepreneurial, organisational, and operational abilities.
• Demonstrated interpersonal communication and relationship skills.
• English language fluency; additional language skills a distinct plus.
• Sense of humour and exquisite judgment.
