Company Description
Company is looking for a Project Management Specialist, Marketing
Direct person in charge: Content and Media Manager
Definition: Plans, organises and leads the execution of several key Company Canada initiatives including (but not limited to): game launch marketing campaigns, VIP+Ambassador program, and events (sponsorships and local activations).
Job Description
1. Project Management Responsibilities
• Participate in key co-creation sessions between internal teams and agencies
• Briefs agencies and internal teams at projects start (when applicable)
• Guide and support agencies and internal teams as key contact point
• Decides when projects are ready for internal checkpoints and presentations
• Present local plans and strategies when required to internal and brand teams (gets required approval from brand teams)
• Manage retainer for both Event and Local Communication agencies (BBR)
• Handle the project management (including development and execution) of assigned 360 marketing initiatives
• Leads the content budget planning and control, also proposes reattributions upon requirement
• Leads and controls project plans, timelines, task delegation, meetings,communications and tasks progress
• Manages tasks and communications sharing and delegation
Optimize communication and status process (internally and with agencies)
Is in charge of communicating updates to other teams (Inc. studio and arcade)
Make sure processes are respected
• Ensure timelines and budgets are respected
• Ensure all approvals are received (by the good people) and ensure quality control of project
• Manages effective relationships with other key functions (retail marketing, community, PR, media, creative, partner, legal, etc...) to ensure seamless operation and execution
• Responds and acts in a timely fashion on marketing issues and red flags any potential problems during team status
• Leads the development of 360 post mortems of the projects
• Works closely with B2B lead in maximizing partners integrations, partnerships amplifications and visibility delivery
2. Content Development Responsibilities
• The Project Management Specialist is responsible for orchestrating the development of the creative
direction, localization and production of assets in continuity with the vision of the Content manager
• Manages production needs and budgets for her/his assigned projects:
1- Key contact for creative agencies
2- Follow up and ensure proper execution of the creative calendar
3- Write the briefs for all creative and required materials
4- Approval of creative assets (in collaboration with managers)
5- Respect the quality control process and deadlines
• Assists in negotiation and management of production services obtained with the agency and all other media suppliers (including concepts, costs, conditions, work back, etc.)
• Leads and approves (in collaboration with the Media Specialist) custom and innovative media executions developed within the campaigns
3. Events and promotions Responsibilities
• Evaluate sponsorship opportunities (based on ROI and strategy)
• Leads the conceptualization, on-site management, execution of activations/events/promotions (including launch events if it is consumer facing) through the event agency
• Coordinates, validates/approves all elements for contests (rules, text conformity, follow-ups with winners, delivery of prizes, etc.)
Qualifications
• 4-6 years direct experience managing marketing projects
• Curiosity and initiative
• Bilingual (English and French)
• Sound understanding of the marketing/communications ecosystem
• Attention to detail
• Ability to multi-task
• Ability to work in a changing environment
• Strong leadership, communication, project management, and collaboration skills with a proven ability to work with both technical and business teams
• Exceptional organisational skills and ability to drive efficiency in a cordial work environment
